Mediation as a condition for Filing a Law Suit

By an amendment to  Labour Courts Code,  application to mediation before filing a lawsuit at the courthouse is a legal obligation as of 01/01/2018.  

 

Obligatory mediation in labour matters is highly criticized by certain groups, but the system is  applied successfully  so far.

Application to mediation does not prevent litigation option and parties have liberty to settle or litigate the matter.

​

It is believed that mediation shall reduce avoidable workload of the courthouses and shall create more availability for present law suits.
